Sam Maguire Visit!

Today we had a very special visit from our All Ireland winners and of course the Sam Maguire! Great excitement around the school and well done to the boys and girls for wearing in your blue!

MATHS WEEK!

We had great fun at our maths stations today! We also went on a maths trail around the school! 

A Visit From The Fire Brigade!

We were very lucky to get a special visit from the Balbriggan Fire Brigade today! The firemen talked to us about fire safety in our homes and how to stay safe if there was ever a fire.

Group Art Project

Mrs Adderly organised a group art project for all the 1st and 2nd classes. Our theme was boats and its titled 'Sailing Through Learning Together' which is exactly what we're doing in room 2! You'll find ours and Ms Feeneys outside our classroom doors and make sure to look out for all the others hanging up around the school. They are amazing! 

Fire Safety Week

This week we are learning about Fire Safety. We had a fire drill in school and we line up behind the number 2 in the yard. Be safe this Halloween and stay away from bonfires and fireworks. They are very dangerous. Click on the link to find out more about fire safety at Halloween:

GOAL Jersey Day 2015

Well done to all the boys and girls for wearing in their favourite teams jerseys today! The classroom was awash with colour! Can u spot Backpack Bear in the photos!?

Road Safety Week

This week was Road Safety Week and we had a special visit from Justine from the RSA. We spoke about being safe in the car by wearing our seatbelts, walking to and from school on the paths and crossing the road safely. We also sang the Safe Cross Code song!
